Education

I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Coastal Carolina University in 2009.  Immediately following my undergraduate studies I enrolled at the University of South Carolina for my Master of Social Work degree.

During my studies and various internships and field experiences I had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including; nonprofits, public school districts, and government agencies.  These experiences confirmed my desire to serve others in both the private and public sectors.

Pictured to the right is my mother and I after the Master of Social Work hooding ceremony in 2011.  She was a major influence in my pursuit of degrees and continues to be one of my largest inspirations even after her death in 2021.
